Grace completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Before physiotherapy school she obtained a Bachelor of Computing with a specialization in biomedical applications and a Master of Science in Computing from Queen’s University.
Grace has currently completed several continuing education courses including neuroproprioceptive taping and athletic taping, level 1 Musculoskeletal Manual Therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA, and dry needling.
Growing up Grace was an avid athlete competing in and coaching soccer and volleyball. In addition to those sports, growing up Grace was formally trained in ballet, pointe, and jazz. As her passion for sport and dance continues, she has taken courses exploring dancer’s physiotherapy and athletic taping. She is passionate about helping athletes recover and prevent injuries to keep them participating in the activities they love.
In addition to working at Strive, Grace also works at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. There she works with patient and orthopaedic surgeons treating patient after joint replacements, fractures, and various other orthopaedic surgeries such as meniscectomies and rotator cuff repairs.
Grace believes in a holistic patient-centred approach to treatment that combines manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education. She enjoys working with people of all ages and aims to work collaboratively with her patients to help them achieve their goals. Outside of the clinic Grace enjoys furthering her passion with sports as she coaches and play volleyball in the west end of Toronto as well as going to the gym and spending time with her family and dog.
